An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Facilities by ADF in the Fleet Workshop. We are looking for a “Maintenance Mechanic”.

Hours: 45 Hour Week (Inc. paid breaks) – On-call rota also in place. This position will be mobile and will be required to work out of any location.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design and Manufacturer of bespoke solutions to meet operational, client requirement.
• Undertake Planned & Re-Active Vehicle Interior fixtures & Fitting.
• Undertake Planned & Re-Active Vehicle Exterior and Exterior Mounted Equipment.
• Undertake Habitation services on all water carrying assets.
• Identify, Investigate and Establish Fault Diagnosis, undertake remedial action to resolve any identified faults.
• Strip down of complete interior, make good and reinstall to meet company exacting standards.
• Undertake Intermediate level HGV Mechanical work, identifying issues, repair or replace to ensure the fleet remains Road Legal, Compliant and Mobile at all times.
• Undertake equipment testing to include Damp testing
• Undertake equipment testing to include PAT Testing
• Removal, Upgrade, and Installation of Kitchen Furniture, Fixtures & Fittings
• Removal, Upgrade, and Installation of Bathroom Furniture, Fixtures & Fittings
• Domestic plumbing to include Fresh Water supply – Water Heating systems.
• Domestic plumbing to include Sanitary System – Grey Water Systems.
• Mechanical Equipment Identify, Investigate and Establish Fault Diagnosis, undertake remedial action to resolve any identified faults.
• Undertake Mechanical Repairs to maintain equipment in an operational status.
• General asset modifications to original vehicles to meet client’s requirements.
• Work to vehicle build specifications.
• Ensure highest quality of workmanship is achieved, in keeping with the quality of the assets.
