Facilities by ADF have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Logistics Coordinator to join their growing team.
Facilities by ADF provides serviced vehicle hire for television and film productions in the UK and Europe, specialising in on-location support for dramas and major features. We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Logistics Coordinator to join our logistics team based in Bordon, Hampshire. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills and be able to work under pressure, reacting quickly to customer needs.
The Role:
As a member of the logistics team you will be scheduling vehicles and drivers to ensure the delivery of our on location facility vehicle service. This involves the analysis of the customer filming schedules to make a clear plan ensuring consistent high standards of delivery. You will work alongside other members of the logistics team to plan the movement of vehicles and allocate drivers to these. You will need good computer skills, polite and friendly telephone manner, attention to detail and the ability to remain positive when working under pressure. Applicants for this position should hold good educational qualifications, with a positive attitude towards health and safety. You will have excellent organisational skills, exceptional customer service skills and a strong work ethic. You will have the ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting the Logistics team with the scheduling a fleet of over 350 units utilising employed drivers along with agency drivers.
• Plan daily movements whilst liaising with all other departments for resource availability
• Liaise with vehicle workshop regarding vehicle availability.
• Complete all required administration work to support the Logistics team.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Be able to work under pressure and meet the last minute requirements of customers
Proficient IT literacy, specifically Excel, with the ability to learn and adapt to in-house IT systems
The hours of work will be 5 days per week for the probationary period but candidates must be able to work on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern after this period. They will be starting on shifts at either 07:00 or 10:00, additional shifts may be required to cover holiday leave
