Job Title: Maintenance and Repair Technician
Salary: £30,000 per annum (overtime available)
Location: Longcross, Surrey
Job Type: Full Time – Permanent Hours: 45 Hours per week (Inc. paid breaks)
Facilities By ADF plc have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance and Repair Technician to join their team based in Bordon with a planned move to a purpose built facility in Longcross, Surrey later this year.
About Us: This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding company that has recently achieved listing on the London Stock Market. Facilities by ADF plc provides serviced vehicle hire for television and film productions in the UK and Europe, specialising in on-location support for dramas and major features. The company has big development plans due to the continued growth of the Film and TV industry and the company acquisition. Our smart, efficient hire fleet includes artiste trailers and departmental trucks for costume, make-up and production, as well as diners and honey-wagons. Facilities by ADF plc are a 24/7 operation and staff are required to be flexible during busy periods to cover additional workloads.
Key Responsibilities:
– Construction of bespoke vehicle conversions
– Habitation services
– Fault finding and rectification
– Removal and refitting of interior trims, light mechanical work
– Electric testing
– Damp testing
– Kitchen, bathroom and bedroom fitting and plumbing
– General modifications to original vehicle build
– Work to vehicle build specifications
We would welcome applications from anyone who has come from woodworking, cabinet making, shopfitting, joinery or mechanical background to assist with the conversion of light commercial vehicles or who have worked as a Vehicle Builder, Vehicle Fitter or Vehicle Bodybuilding.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
– Must be able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
– Be familiar with using power tools
– Must be able to deliver consistently under pressure
– Great attention to detail
– Team player Desirable Possesses a range of skills and knowledge associated with the fabrication and manufacture of commercial vehicle bodywork
– Training will be given
