Job Title: HGV / C+E (Class 1) Driver
Salary: £155 per 10-hour day, overtime available
Location: Longcross, Surrey
Potential Earnings: £40,500 + per annum
Job Type: Full-Time, Casual contracts and Fixed Term contracts available
Facilities by ADF provides serviced vehicle hire for television and film productions in the UK and Europe, specialising in on-location support for TV dramas and major features. HGV / C+E (Class 1) Driver – The role:
The position offers various work with minimal tramping and there will be a fixed start and finish location.
Duties include:
– The safe carrying of sensitive and often expensive equipment in LGV Class One vehicles
– Working as part of a team and communicating with the relevant crew to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner
– Assist the Base Staff with the setting up of equipment on set
– Demonstrate good awareness of Health & Safety protocols
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
– Have a full UK Driving License (or equivalent) with 6 or less points
– Current Driving Qualification Card (DQC) and Driver Digi-Card
– Professional and positive attitude
– Flexibility (shifts often start late afternoon/evening, seven days a week)
– Be able to work as part of a team
– Punctual
– Excellent Communication Skills
*Experience in the TV and Film industry is not necessary as training will be provided*
